1. The other day I purchased gas for $3.96, which was less than the $4.37 my local station charges per gallon. What is the current gas price in your area for regular?
I just saw $4.09 for regular at the station I pass on the way to work every morning!

2. Will your vacation plans be altered by the price of gas?
No, we are driving to West Virginia for a weekend in July and driving up to State College (PA) for the Penn State Autism Conference in August.

3. Is there any movie this summer that you’re looking forward to seeing?
We have already seen a couple (see question #5). Still on the list are The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and Wall-E.

4. Gas prices aside, what is your favorite vacation destination?
Although it is a cliche, we would love to go as a family to Disneyworld one of these years. I was there as a sixteen-year old in 1986, but my husband and, of course, my son have never been there.

5. Will you watch more film on DVD than in theaters this summer?
Having seen an average of one movie per year in the theater for the last few years since our son was born and given the fact that he is now able to sit through a movie, we will probably see more movies in the theater this summer than in previous years. We have actually already gone to Indiana Jones as a couple, and dad & son went to Speed Racer. My son also went to Kung Fu Panda with his preK class.

6. Will you fly anywhere this summer?
No, we usually only fly if visiting my family in the Midwest (or once to see my brother in California).

7. Guess: How high will a gallon of gas peak at?
$5.00

8. Will gas prices effect (sic) who you vote for in this fall’s election?
No

9. How much will the price of home heating oil effect you?
None, we have gas heat.
