Autism/Special Needs, Daily Life, Fun Stuff 37 Comments Which Photo Should I Use? UPDATED
Updated on 6/26/08: Thank you everyone for your kind and helpful comments–I really appreciate all of your input. After taking into account all of the responses I received here and offline, I actually ended up using an entirely different picture for the project. More info to follow later!
I need to select a photo for something and need your help. Can you please take a look at these two pictures and leave me a comment telling me which picture you like better, #1 or #2?

I have to agree with the first two comments – the first one has nice coloring.
I like the first photo too. It looks more like you and not posed. I hope you know what I mean. You look relaxed I guess. Anyway #1.

Count me in as another vote for the first one. Actually the second one is a good pose, looks like laughter. But it is a little shadowy and blue, and the first one not only is a really good natural shot, it also has better color and positioning (the crispness of the necklace slightly over the shirt collar… the sunlight on the corner of your hair).

Dangit. I’m going against the grain… Although I love the coloring in the first – and the necklace is a nice touch, I genuinely feel that the second is a better picture. I love the hair-behind-the-ears-with-the-earrings-showing look. And I really feel that the smile in the second one seems less forced. It’s also more youthful.
If there’s any way for you to bring up the facial coloring in the second then it’s a sure thing.

I’m with Nicole @ SAHM Ramblings, I like the 2nd picture. It seems more natural, youthful and happy. The color and clarity are little off but it definately shows more personality.

I like them both. The coloring is better in the first, but that second one really stands out because you just look so happy. I relaly like the way your hair is pushed back in it.

For something professional I’d definitely go with the first. If it’s for something casual or a social networking thing I might go with the second because you look more open and friendly.
Either way, they’re both lovely and it’s nice to have a face to go with the name
