Autism/Special Needs 8 Comments This and That
We are so lucky to live in an area with a lot of fun places to go, and we have definitely been taking advantage of one of them – Hersheypark! Read more about it in my post over at 5 Minutes for Special Needs.
And for everyone who visited and left comments on the sad photo from Special Exposure Wednesday, I am sorry for not telling you that the clouds did go away and it turned into a beautiful day – and everyone was able to get in the pool!
On a personal note, the swelling and infection from my periodontal surgery is almost gone and I am allowed to eat solid food again, so things are looking up. Hopefully, I will get some sleep over the weekend and be ready for our new schedule when school starts on Monday!

I had to laugh out loud at your update from the family reunion – that sad picture is what most of our August has been around here. Figuratively, that is. When it’s not cloudy and cool, we’ve been busy running errands and prepping for the back to school, trip to China, etc. Crazy month!
But really, it was a very cute picture

I also love what you wrote about your trips to Hershey Park – It is so cool to see that you are trying to help him out with the waiting, etc. That is the hardest thing for my little man when we go to Disney (the only “real” theme pak near us) and finding a time of day and year when there is little crowds is not easy!
I am just so glad that you have that outlet near by for the family to enjoy and spend quality time!
