Michael has been talking about wanting a cat for a while, and yesterday I heard about this kitty, who has been living in a bathroom for the last few days,
because of this doggy, and needed a new home.
So, last night we went to meet him, and now…
he is living under our bed!
Actually, he is very friendly and lovable, just a tiny bit nervous still about Michael after living with a toddler and a baby. His name is Stubby (long story), but we are still deciding if we are going to change it or not.
It has been over three years since we said goodbye to the cat we got from my mom right when we got married, and I am really looking forward to having a pet again.

Oh so glad you got him!!!! He looks exactly like my cat when I was little named Ralph. I am so happy for you guys. I kept thinking yesterday when Kristin announced she had the cat that you guys would be perfect. Yey!!

Oh horray for Stubby! My boys just adore the cats. The dog / cat thing is still a bit higgledy piggeldy but we’re getting there. It’s a big change for kitties to move home but I think they more or less set their own pace.

oh how wonderful! yes, i would probably rename him–lol. we would love to get a pet once we get out of this apt. i know joe would love a dog or a cat.

The cat has been officially renamed Wallace, or Prince Wallace in full. I did not have a vote, but I am just happy both the men in the family are happy with the decision to bring him into our family!
