I’m late posting this today because I was actually working on one of my items from last week’s list. Bob & I finally sat down and worked through our plans for our vacation to the Midwest later this month. We are primarily going there to see my family (Mom, Dad, Dad’s wife, and both grandmothers), but we also have to hit the various Grant Wood exhibits/attractions in Iowa and swing by some of our old Aurora-Naperville area haunts.

I think we have a rough plan, so now I need to firm things up with the family members and make some hotel reservations. I am looking forward to the three of us spending some quality time together, although the thought of all that driving makes me a bit overwhelmed.
There are a bunch of things on my wish list that may or may not get done over the next week, but I’ll just put them all down and see how it goes.

Trish, I love your pictures in this post! Also, I think it’s great to just put a bunch of stuff up that I HOPE to get done and see what happens. This week I didn’t list much, but there’s always more. LOL
Man I really like the look of your blog. I’ve been looking around to see what I want to do with mine one day when I have free time. Anyway, yours is very appealing and well organized. Makes me wanna come back and play around to see what you have hidden in all the nooks and crannies (what are are nooks and crannies anyway?).

My to-do list is to stay out of bed as much as possible. I have an MRI on Friday and blood work next week and I hope they figure things out.
My son doesn’t have autism but does have sensory integration/processing disorder — he’s six. I look forward to reading your blog in the coming days!

Don’t panic about travel!
I drove with our two autistic kids and one ADD son as well from our home in PA to Montana, California and back this summer. It was well worth the trip. I’ve got all about it on my blog, we survived just fine. I found you through Fearless Folks–nice to meet another autie mom in PA!

How’d you do this week Trish?? I did okay. Yesterday wasn’t great, though. Enrolling into kindergarten took it all out of me. Went to bed not feeling well about all of it, so To Do Tuesday wasn’t up last night, but it’s up now. Hope you’re doing well (and a lot better than me!)
