New York to Dallas (In Death, #33)New York to Dallas
by J.D. Robb

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

About the Book

Isaac McQueen is a savage pedophile who just can’t quit. Now that he’s escaped from New York’s Riker Island, he has only three goals: Stay free; continue his perverted attacks; and wreak revenge on the cop who brought him down: Eve Dallas. J.D. Robb’s 33rd futuristic In Death novel promises to take readers deep into the mind and heart of Eve Dallas than ever before.

My Thoughts

Loved, loved it!! I am always excited to see another Eve Dallas book hit the shelves, but this one went above and beyond in every way.

It was great to see her in another environment outside of New York, especially one that factors so heavily in her past as Dallas. The confluence of history is gripping, as her own childhood memories mingle with the resurfacing of a monster from early in her career.

If you have gotten away from this series for any reason, this is definitely the book to bring you back.

Note: This is Book #97 of my 2011 Reads (master list here).
