What's On Your Nightstand

Since my last WOYN post, I have finished 17 books, bringing my total for the year to 98. Wow – I didn’t realize there were so many until I counted them up for this!

I guess you can tell what I’ve been doing with all of my free time. Part of the additional reading can be attributed to the fact that I have increased my hours at work. Counter-intuitive, I know, but the change means that I am now taking a lunch break, otherwise known as reading time with no husband or child trying to get my attention!

I didn’t pull pictures for all of them since there are more than usual, but I tried to group them a bit so people can find what they are most interested in. Hopefully there’s something for everyone in this list!

I ought to read the Asperger’s books, since I have a family member with that … I enjoyed Beverly Lewis’s books a few years back. The medieval voices book sounds fascinating as well (I love that period!).

Wow, that’s a lot of books! I’ve read all of Beverly Lewis’s books — love them! I’ve read that series of Kingsbury’s and am looking forward to the next one due out in a few weeks.

wow! 17 books! that is awesome. maybe that’s my problem, i dont’ go off to work so have time to read–ha ha ha. i’ve been trying to read right before bed.

do you belong to any book clubs? do you discuss the books you read with anyone other than your blog? just cuirous. i’m debating about joining a mystery book club but it would mean a hour drive each way …. kind of a deal breaker.

I began to keep a count of books read in a year, many years ago because it helps me to know if I’ve already read a certain book. I list them at the back of my current journal and now on my blog. They do add up, don’t they.
Happy Reading,
Mama Bear
