In So Many Words

I may not have hundreds of readers or thousands of visitors here at Another Piece of the Puzzle, but I am proud of what I do and have met some wonderful people through blogging over the past several months.

So how fun was it to hear about a very clever blog called AllMediocre, whose tagline is “The World’s Best Blogs… You Just Don’t Know It Yet!”  What a great take on the idea of listing and promoting really great blogs – thanks to katy aka funny girl for turning me on to it.

If you’re still confused, read more about them on their History page and find how to be a part of it on their Join page.  Then visit their Blog and start checking out some mediocre awesome blogs!

Did you know that 5 Minutes for Mom has a blog directory? I had submitted my blog a while ago and just found out that I am now listed, plus there is an interview with me about how I got started blogging and what I love about it. It was really fun to answer the questions; some of them really made me think!

I am generally cautious about installing new toolbars in my browser, but after reading about this new one designed for moms, I decided to give it a trial run–and I really like it! The mommybar allows you to easily access tons of great mom blogs, social networks and various other resources such as shopping sites and coupons (tons of coupons – mine is now showing 355 different ones).

You can also switch it from mommybar to kidzbar, which has several kid-friendly categories, including educational, fun, interactive and gadgets. Another toolbar option is mombloggersclub, which I use a lot because Mom Bloggers Club is a really fun place to hang out and meet new people, and this give me easy access to it.
