To-Do Tuesday – Week Sixteen
To continue with the theme of simplifying things, I am just going to keep the same to-do list until I get all the things done. Too many of these keep get put off as other things come up that ultimately are less important!
I’m not really sure what to do for end of the year thank yous – is it okay to just make some cards and write notes to people or should I give them something? My first thought would be something edible, but it’s so hard to know who will and won’t appreciate that. There’s quite a number of people involved, when you add together school, Stepping Stones and his BSC/TSS.
The photo book is hard because my husband is the creative one and will put together a much better finished project than I would, but he will also want to spend a lot of time on it. That is why it didn’t get done for Christmas, and then wasn’t done by the next occasion that came up. I would like to have it done before her birthday, which is actually less than three weeks away!
My To Do List:
Work on action items from ASD HOPE Board Meeting.
Try This Tuesday for next week.(I’m actually two weeks ahead on this due to my brilliant new plan to find great posts and ask the bloggers if they are willing to share them with the group! I’m not going to put this on my to do list anymore as long as I can keep at least a week ahead. This is actually a huge weight off my mind as I was getting a bit low on inspiration for the column.)
Finish guest post for Writing to Serve. (almost done!)Finally finished this; I am such a procrastinator sometimes!
Work on end of year thank yous.Done – 6/3
Work on photo book for Sally. (looks like this is turning from a Christmas present into a birthday present!)Well, I did as much as I could. This is just not my area of strength, so Bob will either have to finish the online version, or I will have to switch it to a scrapbook.
Finish last bit of paperwork for visit to DAN! doctor. (almost done!)Finally!! Done – 6/8
Buy two pairs of kids’ work gloves for VBS.Ended up just needing one pair. Done – 6/3
Copy files from desktop to laptop for backup.
Go through folder of bookmarked post ideas/things to check out.Done – 6/21. Finally! And I deleted the folders so they won’t build up anymore!
Start planning trip to Illinois.Done – 6/30. By “start planning,” I mean that I made a list of what I need to do for the trip; I haven’t actually done any of it yet!
What’s on your to-do list that you are putting off???
